The Indian Army has announced that a typing test will be introduced for Agniveer Clerk and Storekeeper roles from the recruiting year 2024-25 onwards. This means that if you are applying for these roles in the upcoming recruitment cycle, you will need to be prepared to take a typing test as part of the selection process.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and typing test. Final merit will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in the written Test and conduct of Typing Test will be for qualifying purpose only.
Typing speed of 30 words per minute in Enlish on computer or a typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer (30 words per minute and 25 words per minute correspond to 10500/9000 key depressions per hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.
