Typing Rules:
AIIMS CRE Typing Skill Test Features
Tying Language:- Either in English or in Hindi as per the Candidate choice and for DEO post only English Typing.
Tying Font:- For Hindi Mangal Inscript Keyboard layout will be used. But some AIIMS prefer Kruti Dev 010 font.
Typing Speed:- 35 w.p.m for English and 30 w.p.m for Hindi typing.
Time Duration:- 15 minutes.
Passage Length:- Approx. 2625 Keystrokes in English and about 2250 keystrokes in Hindi. For DEO post 2000 keystrokes in English.
Eligibility:
To get qualified Candidate must have typed minimum 2625 keystrokes in English or 2250 keystrokes in Hindi.
The gross speed and net speed will be calculated based on the total keystrokes typed, with 5 keystrokes being equivalent to one word (5 keystrokes = 1 word). Errors will be assessed on a word-by-word basis, taking into account any mistakes made during the test.
