How can you pass the NCERT Typing Test?


Skill Test NCERT
English Typing with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute on the computer.
OR
Hindi Typing with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute on the computer.
(35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi correspond to 10,500 key depressions per hour in English and 9,000 key depressions per hour in Hindi with an average of 5 key depressions for each word on the computer.)
The candidates will be provided a passage of about 1750 key depressions in English and 1500 Key depressions in Hindi, corresponding to 10,500 KDPH or 9,000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word. The combination of alphanumeric keys and space will be considered as a Word.

13.3.1 Skill test (typing) will be conducted only on computers. Computers & keyboards for the purpose will be provided by the Recruitment Centers.

13.3.4 Each error (including spelling mistakes, omission of words/punctuation marks, repeated words, words differing from the test/actual passage, words not in the passage, mixing-up of words, etc.) will be counted as a mistake.
