Important Notice For UPPSC APS Computer Knowledge & Typing Skill Test
** For the Hindi Test candidates are required to familiarize themselves with Mangal or Kurtidev the conventional Keyboard/Inscript Key Board respectively. There is no provision for any other type of keyboard or font for this test. d. Qualifying Speed for Typing Test Qualifying Speed for Hindi Typewriting for 5-minute test: 25 w.p.m. on Computer.
Basic knowledge of working on Windows System Platforms on desktops and laptops with peripherals like Printer, Scanner, Microphone and Speaker. Working knowledge of Microsoft office package (Microsoft word, Excel, Power point etc.) Conversant in the use of World Wide Web and popular websites (for Railway/Air Reservation, search engines like Google, information websites like wikipedia etc.) Working Knowledge of E-mailing (sending, sending with attachment, reading, saving, printing, maintaining address book etc.) Working Knowledge of preparation of presentations (power point, PDF etc.) with different styles and animations.
UPPSC APS Exam Patter for Shorthand & Typing Test The shorthand and typing test will be based on the following criteria: Hindi Shorthand - 75 marks Computer Typing: 25 marks The exam duration will be 1.5 hours. UPPSC APS Exam Pattern for Computer Practical Test The computer practical test will be conducted to assess a candidates proficiency in basic computer operations like E-mailing, use of World Wide Web, use of formulae and calculations on excel sheet, etc. Keep in mind the following about the UPPSC APS computer test: The total marks for this test are 50. The exam duration is 1 hour.
